Hi, I’m Richard Johnston. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and currently live in Fairview, Tennessee- just outside Nashville. I have worked in the substance use recovery field for over five years. I am a Certified Intervention Professional and a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. I have years of experience helping individuals with substance use disorders and their families find hope during the darkest times of their lives. While I have had the honor of helping with a diverse array of substance use disorders over the years, my area of professional focus has been the American opioid crisis and how to most effectively reach those impacted by it. My approach is based on practicality and prioritization- which is to say I help empower my clients to overcome their most detrimental barriers to recovery, one at a time, using the most effective techniques possible. I am absolutely thrilled to have the honor of helping you achieve your best life!
